A brother, Lenny Brown, has passed. Lenny was very active in the club and was personally responsible for much of the repairs and remodeling of our hall. At the General Meeting last night, many members stood up and paid tribute to all he’s done for our division and to what a true friend he’d been to many of us. He will be missed.

Leonard J.
On April 2, 2007, of Brooklawn, NJ. Age 63 yrs. Loving father of Janet Goetz (Peter), Dawn Colofranson (Anthony) and Joseph Brown (Colleen). Beloved son of Leonard 'Jake' Brown and the late Julia (nee Finnerty). Dear grandfather of Matthew and Thomas Goetz, Caitlin, Tara, and Anthony Colofranson and Heidi, Joseph, Casey and Rebecca Brown. Also survived by his sister Janet Cullen and brother Frank Brown (Kathy) along with several nieces and nephews .
Mr. Brown was born and raised in South Phila, and was a WW II veteran serving in the US Navy SeaBees. He also retired in 1993 from the US Naval Shipyard after 30 years service. He was an active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, National Park Division and was a former member of the Year.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Powell St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. AMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Interment to be held at the convenience of the Family. There will be no evening viewing.

For those of you who are not yet aware, Sherrie Canning passed away Friday afternoon.
The services have been set for Wednesday 4/4/07 at the AOH Hall at 6pm.
All members planning to attend are asked to wear a Division shirt if you have one, with black or khaki pants.
This service WILL include a Mass so if you plan to attend and do not own a division shirt at this time please dress appropriately. Thank you.

CANNING, SHERLE LYNN
(nee Lewis) of West Deptford, on March 30, 2007, after an extended illness. She was 39 years of age.
Sherri was born in Camden and raised in Paulsboro, where she attended high school. She graduated from P & B Beauty School, Gloucester City and obtained her license in beauty culture. Over the years, she and her husband, Bob, owned and operated several hair salons in the area, currently the Triangles for Hair and Nail Salon in Woodbury. Sherri was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, where she served as past president. She will be remembered as a woman who embodied motherhood, a loving, selfless and caring person who was a great listener, yet had a very light-hearted and fun side to her.
She is the beloved wife of 18 years to Robert,Jr., devoted mom of Robert J. III, Nicholas and Eireann and Jade, loving daughter of Betty (nee Bakeley) and Bill Lewis of Paulsboro, dear sister of Patty Ivey of Paulsboro, Bill Lewis of Westville and Phillip Lewis, loving daughter-in-law of Robert and Georgianna Canning of Gibbstown, dear sister-in-law of Mark and Christine Schebol of Mt. Royal and Tom and Sue Canning of Gibbstown. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Roman Catholic Funeral Mass Wednesday, promptly at 6PM at the Hall of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, 2nd & Columbia, National Park. A lifetime celebration and time of remembrance will follow starting after 7PM.
